Modern Slavery Statement

1. Introduction

This statement sets out the steps Inspire Care Group takes to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains. It is published where section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 applies, and may also be published voluntarily as good practice.

2. Our organisation

We provide residential and related care services. Our workforce includes directly employed staff and, where needed, agency colleagues. We procure goods and services such as catering supplies, clinical consumables, maintenance, IT, and professional services.

3. Policies and due diligence

We aim to reduce modern slavery risk through:

• Safer recruitment, right-to-work checks, and identity verification
• Clear expectations of suppliers and staffing agencies regarding lawful labour practices
• Safeguarding and whistleblowing routes for raising concerns
• Training so staff recognise indicators of exploitation and know how to report
• Proportionate supplier due diligence based on risk

4. Risk assessment

Higher-risk areas may include contingent labour, outsourced services, and complex supply chains. We focus controls where the risk of forced labour or exploitation is greatest and review them as our operations evolve.

5. Effectiveness and continuous improvement

We review incidents, near misses, and supplier issues that may indicate modern slavery risk. Where gaps are identified we strengthen recruitment, contracting, training, or monitoring arrangements.

This statement is reviewed periodically by senior leadership. The “last reviewed” date on this page indicates the most recent organisational review.
